Staying near HSR Layout

HSR Layout is one of Bengaluru's newer, well-planned neighbourhoods, between Hosur Road and Sarjapur Road. It is home to many startup offices, co-working spaces and restaurants, and to landmarks like Agara Lake and the BDA Complex. It is also a residential area, so hotel options inside HSR are limited.

Hotel Paramos Meeds is 3 to 4 km from HSR Layout, about 15 minutes by road past Silk Board junction. Staying in Madiwala puts you between HSR, Koramangala and BTM Layout, which helps if your week takes you to more than one of them, and St John's Hospital and Nexus Mall Koramangala are both a short ride away.

Rooms are set up for work: every room has a work desk, and Wi-Fi 6 runs across the hotel with no limit on devices. There is a meeting room for 8 to 10 people with video conferencing, a fully equipped gym for early mornings, and Café Luma Haus on the roof for the evenings.

Rooms near HSR Layout start from ₹2,000 a night, valet parking is free for staying guests, and the Yellow Line metro at Central Silk Board, about 2 km away, gives you another way to get around when traffic is heavy.

Getting to know HSR Layout

What HSR stands for

HSR is short for Hosur Sarjapur Road Layout. The Bangalore Development Authority laid it out in 1985 between those two roads, and it is divided into seven sectors. HSR is large, so check the sector in the address: the time it takes to get there depends on which sector you are going to.

Getting there from the hotel

Head south to Silk Board and take the Outer Ring Road east. The double-decker flyover at Silk Board has a ramp from the BTM Layout side down onto the Outer Ring Road towards HSR, which saves waiting at the junction. Most of HSR is 15 to 25 minutes by cab, depending on the sector and the time of day.

Agara Lake and the Outer Ring Road

Agara Lake, on the edge of HSR, is popular for morning walks. Beyond it, the Outer Ring Road continues towards Bellandur and Marathahalli, past several large tech parks, which is why many people working there look for a stay between HSR and Koramangala.

Metro plans

The Blue Line, under construction along the Outer Ring Road from Central Silk Board towards KR Puram, is planned with a station at HSR Layout. Today, the nearest working metro to the hotel is the Yellow Line at Central Silk Board, about 2 km away.
