The Yellow Line metro from Madiwala

The Yellow Line, opened in August 2025, runs 19 km from RV Road in Jayanagar to Bommasandra, past Silk Board and Electronic City. Two of its stations are about 2 km from Hotel Paramos Meeds, which makes it the easiest way to dodge Hosur Road traffic.

The route

The line has 16 stations: RV Road, Ragigudda, Jayadeva Hospital, BTM Layout, Central Silk Board, Bommanahalli, Hongasandra, Kudlu Gate, Singasandra, Hosa Road, Beratena Agrahara, Electronic City, Infosys Foundation Konappana Agrahara, Huskur Road, Biocon Hebbagodi and Delta Electronics Bommasandra. It runs on an elevated track above Hosur Road for most of the way.

Which station to use

BTM Layout and Central Silk Board stations are both about 2 km from the hotel, a short auto ride. Use Central Silk Board for trips south to Electronic City, and either station for trips north to Jayanagar and RV Road.

Timings and frequency

Trains start at about 6 AM from Monday to Saturday and 7 AM on Sundays, and run until around midnight from RV Road. With the full fleet in service in 2026, trains come every 7 minutes or so at peak times and less often at other times. Check the Namma Metro app for the latest timetable.

Fares and tickets

Fares on Namma Metro range from ₹10 to ₹90 depending on distance. You can buy a QR ticket on the Namma Metro app or at the station, or use a travel card. Keep the ticket until you exit.

Tips for riding

Trains towards Electronic City are crowded on weekday mornings and trains towards RV Road in the evenings, so travel outside 8:30 to 10:30 AM and 5:30 to 8 PM if you can. Bags go through a security check at the entrance. Eating and drinking are not allowed on trains.

From the hotel, ask the auto driver for "BTM Layout metro station" or "Silk Board metro station". Our front desk can call an auto for you.

What's coming next

The Pink Line will meet the Yellow Line at Jayadeva Hospital station; its first section passed its safety inspection in October 2026. The Blue Line from Central Silk Board to the airport is under construction, expected around the end of 2027. See our airport guide.

Timings, prices and routes were checked in October 2026 and can change. Please confirm with the venue before you travel.
